All my life, I've created and built structures with my two hands. 

From a young age, I was fascinated by iron welding and was captivated by the smell of wood work. 

Truthfully, I liked anything with a nice spark and a loud noise.

Years later, it is these same elements that excite me.

As a lighting designer, for me the light is the canvas, the texture. When utilized best, it can change your entire perception and sentiment. 

The Temple of Reflection is the precise project that allows me to express all the elements and meaning that light represents to me.

This year, we plan to build an incredible Temple. The magnificent architectural structure draws its strength from 10 rays of light which meet in the center and are reflected to the sky. In the center, participants undergo a profound personal experience that materialize when sparked by light.

At Midburn, the Temple of Reflection will speak to the hearts of thousands and accompany them through a process that is personal, magical, and powerful. 

The temple will be an energetic light center which can be seen from all corners of the playa and will direct burners as a pillar of fire in the night sky.
